Hoersholm, Denmark, December 14, 2017 - MPI announces result of the evaluation of DRP prediction of patient response to the undisclosed small molecule, kinase inhibitor (TKI) in-licensed from Novartis Pharma AG (Basel, Switzerland) by Oncology Venture, to be available and disclosed third week of January 2018. The analysis of the tumor tissue is done by a third party on behalf of Novartis and the evaluation of the DRP's ability to predict which patients had positive outcome of the treatment is done by Novartis.
In July 2017 Oncology Venture entered into an agreement with Novartis providing Oncology Venture with an option right to execute an exclusive license to develop and commercialize an undisclosed small molecule, multi tyrosine kinase inhibitor in clinical development. The molecule has been explored in multiple clinical trials in several cancer indications including a variety of solid tumors.

About MPI's Drug Response Predictor - DRP®
MPI's DRP® is a tool for developing tumor-derived genetic signatures to predict which cancer patients are high likely to respond to a given anti-cancer product. The DRP® has been tested in 37 trials, where 29 trials showed that drug-specific DRP® Biomarkers could predict which patients responded well to the treatment.
