Blind clinical validation of drug response predictor

Clinical collaborators from Aalborg University Hospital and Erasmus Medical Center University Hospital, Rotterdam presented preliminary blind clinical validation results of MPI's drug response predictor at the XXII International Myeloma Workshop in Washington, DC, Feb 26, 2009.

A total of 87 Multiple Myeloma patients treated with VAD were predicted by MPI and the prediction compared to the actual clinical response by clinical collaborators. There was a statistical significant correlation with observed response.

"This is a significant milestone for us," said Steen Knudsen, Chief Science Officer for Medical Prognosis Institute.
